Why teach that pit bulls are naturally aggressive in a college course in animal behavior?

I understand that the media and ignorant people have this twisted view, but educated people know that pit bulls have a bad reputation only and are really big dogs. My mother boyfriends are taking animal behavior and said he was taught, APBT are naturally aggressive and have a high tendency to attack children and owners there. WTF. Why a class based on facts teach this?

Sounds like taking a course quite true! Are not naturally human aggressive at all! They are prone to dog aggression … Where is it in this course?
