First time questions?

I have really wanted to adopt a dog in the near future, and I have some questions for dog owners: What flea / tick / hearworm medicine has proved more effective and what are the approximate annual cost of the same for a medium sized dog? How to discipline your dog? I've heard everything from "shouting to the dogs" "Hit with a rolled up newspaper", "Step on the legs if he jumps." "Never use corporal punishment "" use a shake can "" do not use negative reinforcement at all, just use praise for good behavior and ignore misbehavior "Obviously I can not just ignore my dog if he starts destroying the furniture so what the owners of newspapers considered appropriate punishment? How much is a time-first welfare check for a medium sized dog? Feel free to give any other advice, I'm all ears. Of course I have my shopping list together, and I have chosen the shelter I check out, and I decided that I prefer dogs that are medium to large (40-60 lbs) but not extra large or small.

and can respond to your flea / tick / heartworm medication is that I finally found Heartguard be the best for heartworm and frontline Plus to be good for fleas and ticks. =]] Now your dog discipline, trust me on this … because my whole Life is about dogs and I do not lol all there is no information on them … NEVER step or beaten with something … This is not true! Now if your dog gets into the trash … and you find it, just take it away, make sure you see what you did and say "No! Bad boy!" in a stern voice and give a little swat on the ass … that so it does not hurt, but he does not know how to do it again. If your dog jumps on you lot … just ignore it, it will eventually stop trying because what is to achieve from your jump is to call your attention … so if you do not give him any attention and pretend hes there, time stands still .. but not immediately. No knee or yell at your dog when he greets you with a jump, simply turn away and ignore it until it feels, then slowly health, retirement greetings, increasing your excitement. To praise good behavior, all you have to do is say "Good Boy!" and give a little love, if you want. If you have a problem with your dog chewing furniture … sprays are very similar to this – http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/product_detail.aspx?item_guid=48DD527D-1FF5-4751-BF11-98417A8C1F36&click=124&mf=2 it's safe for your house / furniture, and pets … and its taste is unpleasant for your dog used to do more. =]] A check for wellniess first half – dog size can vary anywhere from $ 25 – $ 120 usually … depending on your veterinarian. I would also recommend a good size, fenced yard that your dog regularly can run without problems in playing with toys that can get their energy out … a lot of dogs develop problems like chewing, digging, barking a lot, especially if you can not get their energy out. In addition, I had to walk normal daily =]] I would suggest Foodwise Science Diet hard food, since it is the best, healthiest dog food out there! I can use this dog food for my dog and she loves him (and hes a picky eater = P) not is a good thing to change the brand of dog food a lot. This can lead them to become ill. = / You should also always have a limit of time each day to give attention to your dog, or you may feel neglected. This time could also be "training time" that both can wait too. In addition, usually when a dog goes to his new home for the first time, they want to be alone in an isolated … so sure there is a corner or a place you can go for a while until warm up. I would put a bed in that facility. And I would get used to your surroundings before you start to pet and hug him and stuff. The dog may be rebellious or aggressive, if you do that. But at the same time, you have to show love and affection … But do not over do it. You also need to ensure that clean your dog's teeth … a good way to do is get one of those toothbrushes for dogs finger and put chicken or meat-flavored toothpaste to dog on it. For the first couple of days just let him lick the toothpaste without sticking your finger in the mouth. Similarly, when you're licking the toothpaste, praise him. The next couple of days, slowly put finger in his mouth while hes licking toothpaste and keep praising him. With time you will get it to such an extent that will allow you to brush your teeth if you go enough slow. I also give him a treat after each brushing and praise him a lot! you must be very careful with certain foods too! Many foods are poisoness to dogs and can cause death or make them very sick. Here are some you should avoid. Alcoholic beverages Baby food from fish bones, chicken, or beef other sources Chocolate Cat food, coffee, tea and other caffeine citrus oil extracts fat trimmings and raisins Grapes Hops Human vitamin supplements containing iron, large quantities of liver marijuana Macadamia nuts Milk and milk products other spoiled food or mildew, garbage Onions and garlic (raw, cooked, or powder) Persimmons Pits peaches and plums from the Potato, rhubarb, and tomato leaves, potato and tomato stems raw fish raw eggs Salt sugary dough String snuff yeast also does not feed your dog table scraps for the fact that once you get used to it … they were expected to start begging. And once they start ask, is a hard habit to break. I think that's all for now! Hope this helps! Good Luck! =]]

Two questions about my dogs behavior.why not let our dog our dog alpha beta win when they play?

Our dog is beta * much larger * our Alpha .. Why did his victory when they play? Secondly, when playing w / her toys, why throw your head back and forth w / the toy in his mouth?

Alpha is always first in everything, even play. That means that if the other did not show could get a rough fight and could explode. They are making toys exactly what they were going to the dam is a natural instinct to shake and break the neck. If you were to catch a cat that is exactly what he would.

noughty dog?

my dog pretty well behaved, but lately has been running for example noughty ouside the park boundaries, grunting other dogs who just want to play with her, crying to come at the wrong time, this is all new behavior.she is well cared for and exercised a lot.

I agree that it is just a phase and she is only testing to see if she gets more attention that way. so if you just do not give any attention especially since it is even better with time.
