dog behavior barking at strangers
How I can correct my dog aggressive with strangers?

My dog becomes very aggressive (barking, growling, lunges, pull belt, etc) every time you see someone for a ride … even if the person is not even approached her. It's like she thinks everyone is to get it (when, for me, it is obvious that the person wants nothing to do with it). It's embarrassing, because people looked like a mad dog, but is actually very quiet sweet, loving and when people who know. It is only with strangers. I guess you have problems with confidence or something. Taking walks she has become in extremely stressful. How I can fix this problem?

If you start doing something you like, turn around and walk her in the other direction. eventually learn that if she does something wrong, she withdraws from the situation

* You may have heard a prowler outside or an animal. Hearing dogs are very sensitive. If you believe in spirits as many of us, then you can also see and hear the spirits inside the house. Whether or dog was protecting you. Nothing is physically or mentally wrong with your dog.

How do I stop the bad behavior of my dog?

My 2 year old chihuahua female does the following:-barks at people, we Charges Bites and barks with us when we leave the room is in itself helps the food-barks at the door, barking at the postman thinks he is the Alpha Dog How I can leave this bad behavior? I have tried numerous times saying "NO!" does not work.

Forgive my bluntness, but your dog behaves like it because he has what I call "small dog syndrome." This is a disorder caused when the owners hated the bad behavior of a small dog – Like jumping on people or furniture – is "cute" and do not leave. Any owner of a small dog should look at your dog and pretend that weighs 200 pounds. If what is made "small dog syndrome" would be a thing of the past. First I recommend an obedience class with a professional trainer. You dog thinks is the alpha dog, because the most likely. To stop this behavior to become the alpha in the pack. To begin, start taking walks with the dog at his side or behind you. She should not be snooping around, you should walk forward with head and tail, both down. How much exercise is to get? Small dogs often need more exercise than large dogs, not less. Is your dog biting the game to get attention or is the grip and break the skin? If biting is a game then all you do is cry – tall, short and sharp – cross your arms and back from it. If you continue to come after you walk away from it and say nothing. Teach him to sit if she wants your attention. Do you feel, when sitting, pet and praise her. As soon as the soil is ass standing up and making them feel again. She'll learn. If your dog is grip and break the skin is called aggression. If you can manage to usurp his place as alpha dog who can help. If you do not have to speak with a professional trainer and your veterinarian. The same goes for loading and barks when you leave the room. However, when they begin to leave the room and she behaves like that turn around and walk back in not to leave until he is finally quiet and submissive. The dog barks at people and the postman is fear aggression. She will bark to tell everyone "Look how tough I am! Back!" and if the postman does (which drops the mail and let your dog feel as if he was afraid of the barking away). Time for a spray bottle. When the dog barks a jet on the back of the head with the spray bottle. Do not say anything. It is very important to be consistent. If your dog is using the food, stop allowing it. She is not a Chihuahua, a Great Dane. There is no reason why they should have access to food, even if you're eating in a coffee table. If you are eating on the floor you need to stop allowing their access to food. If she goes for the dish stand up and walk towards it, a backup. When a backup resume his seat. Do this several times until she realizes that it will not achieve anything. When she is able to take their food really has no reason to stop, Right? Please consult a professional trainer as soon as possible. I also recommend the same books you recommend to people who adopt foster dogs in my house. Caesar Way, by Cesar Millan, and "The Loved Dog. The playful nonaggressive way to teach your dog good behavior" by Tamar Gellar Both are very informative texts you need to take control of your house around your dog does not want .. to be the leader of the pack, but you have forced her to his lack of leadership. "No" means nothing to a dog.

    dog behavior barking problem
If you are going to be rude / trial, do not bother to answer. I have a problem with a barking dog.?

Again, I know that most people without knowing the whole situation, they automatically say, why get a dog if you leave out? My dog ??lives inside during the day, but outdoors overnight. I'm not going to change that routine and I'm not so inhuman. So I'd appreciate it if the big and powerful out there was no critical comments. Now we passed it. My dog ??will bark at night sometimes not, for hours, but for about 20 seconds to 40 seconds at a time. How to discourage this behavior? My neighbors are very nice and would not do anything unless it gets very hand. But of course I would love to change this problem.

I also I have dogs outside and bark at night when there is usually a reason. So I get up and go and check, most times I see something that they are barking and say good girl and put them back in bed .. If not for long periods perhaps only a receipt for them … Ok as a "name the dog" back to bed. It may take a couple of nights get up, but my dogs first obtaining the essence of what it should alert me too, and it does not matter.

            dog behavior fighting problems
Any dog behavior expert? Need help with chihuahuas?

I'll try to make as short as possible. I have three chihuahuas, 2 they are brothers. I had one before the two brothers entered the picture. The problem is that the two chihuahuas new fight and are trying to alpha out together. They get very serious in fighting and urinating in the house. How I can stop trying to be dominant to each other? They are not nuture (not sure if its written that way)

Two things: 1. They are fighting for dominance, because there is no current leader. You have to become that leader. 2. Get the castrated. Is best for them and you too.

I have small dog that is terrified of strangers and barks and nips at them. How I can stop this behavior?

She is very well with people he knows, but, when visitors enter the house he barks and tries to bite. Please help.

Because we do not know much about your personality dogs, your question is difficult to answer. I recommend to distract your dog every time someone approaches. It is best to do this with a treat or a toy to grab your attention. I know it's hard, but boiling your dog is not the proper discipline. It is very possible that your dog is doing because he is trying to protect. Another suggestion is clearly trying to calm your dog down. In difficult situations on your knees and keep your dog while calmly stroking his chest, the dogs love it and is very relaxing. If your dog is showing aggression, give an accurate high note, as BAH! or NO! to say something she has done wrong. Hope this helped!

                Dog problems?

I have a two year old Westie and often their behavior is fine, but lately has been tearing up the charts and other things while he was alone. He also complained a lot, but I see no physical problem of why he is doing this. I've had for over a year and I wonder if this is just a phase that goes through or if there is any way we can stop chewing. We have begun their blockade the kitchen, but we would like to let it roam around the house. Any solution would be much appreciated. Thanks for all the suggestions so far, but I lik to add that when we in the house that gets lots of love and is going for many walks.

Sounds as if you were developing "separation anxiety." Their behavior is response to being alone. As far as I know, the best way to handle this is to do some exercises with him. Start by going through the door as if leaving for a while. Stand in the door, and if he complains or whines, open the door and say NO! Then after that, leaving the door again. Wait until you quit whining then enter and reward. Making small steps every time you leave more and more until you get the idea. Poochie will be fine. This does not sound like something a vet can help. Watch Animal Planet for other tips on how to overcome bad behavior. Good luck. :)
