Why does my dog to leave the lawn with his hind legs after pee?
Whenever my Shih Tzu pees on a walk, he always sticks to the gras with their hind legs. Why is this? Is this normal? I care, Steph.

Why do some dogs are "singing"?
When I was young, I used to have a dog that has started to "sing" (Beep) each time someone had blown on a pipe or a harmonica. I recently watched the video below, and I begin to wonder if there is an explanation rationale for this behavior? Thanks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiblYasnzWE
I can think of two possible explanations. 1 – dogs were domesticated wolves, which are social animals. When you start another howling usually join in. The noise may have been instinctive trigger this response in your dog. 2 – dogs ears are very sensitive. It could have been the frequencies of the instruments that were driving an answer, which irritated the dogs. I think the first is more likely;)

Best age to spay a dog?
What is the best age to spay a dog. Our puppy is 4 months + and I heard 6 months is a good age. Our coach is recommending 5 months to stop the bad behavior training. Our puppy does not lift the leg when he pees, but seems to be starting to mark – retaining the pee so you can score a couple of points.
I agree with his coach that ~ 5 months is an appropriate age, but prior to sterilization really starts to mark the behavior (you can see it start to lift his leg and / or try to lift up to urinate at the highest possible point on an object, you makes it seem "bigger" to other dogs around and therefore more dominant). Also, if some bad behaviors are learned prior to castration, castration is not a "quick fix" for everything. For example, if your puppy has learned to be aggressive (powered by the start of production of testosterone) sterilization after this point could not reverse the problem, should be sterilized before the trouble begins. Hope this helps, congratulations on your new puppy!

aggressive behavior in dogs can be changed?
I watch animal cops Houston when I can not sleep. Always allow dogs that are aggressive. I also sometimes see displayed on the Animal Planet Dog Trainer tense. I think it is called "Is it me or the dog." I've seen her turn to help the behavior of everything. Even bastard Michael Vick dogs were in rehab for his conduct. Thus, the more aggressive behavior can turn around? If so, Why housing in this program always euthanize dogs that are aggressive?
Shelters are working in the best interests of the people, not the best interest of the dogs. The liability risk of a bite is always the first consideration. That err on the side of caution. Animal aggression is not easy to overcome. Food aggression is easier to fix. real people aggression is not as common as the other two problems. Shelters generally any dog ??euthanasia one of these problems or a dog of a breed known for having such problem. Just do it to maintain public safety. Some of the dogs could probably be worked. But it is better to keep children safe rather than take a risk. Temperament is genetic. A dominant dog is a dominant dog is a dominant dog. A fearful dog is a dog fearful is a fearful dog. The underlying temperament never changes. But some things as food aggression can be worked easier than aggression animal or human aggression.
