aggressive behavior in dogs can be changed?
I watch animal cops Houston when I can not sleep. Always allow dogs that are aggressive. I also sometimes see displayed on the Animal Planet Dog Trainer tense. I think it is called "Is it me or the dog." I've seen her turn to help the behavior of everything. Even bastard Michael Vick dogs were in rehab for his conduct. Thus, the more aggressive behavior can turn around? If so, Why housing in this program always euthanize dogs that are aggressive?
Shelters are working in the best interests of the people, not the best interest of the dogs. The liability risk of a bite is always the first consideration. That err on the side of caution. Animal aggression is not easy to overcome. Food aggression is easier to fix. real people aggression is not as common as the other two problems. Shelters generally any dog ??euthanasia one of these problems or a dog of a breed known for having such problem. Just do it to maintain public safety. Some of the dogs could probably be worked. But it is better to keep children safe rather than take a risk. Temperament is genetic. A dominant dog is a dominant dog is a dominant dog. A fearful dog is a dog fearful is a fearful dog. The underlying temperament never changes. But some things as food aggression can be worked easier than aggression animal or human aggression.

Psy 101 help!?
I looked everywhere for these answers in my book and not come to me …. Can anyone help me in a well-known experiment, Preschoolers beat and kicked a large inflated Bobo doll as an adult had beaten only. This experiment illustrates the importance of: a) operant conditioning. c) observational learning. b) Respondent's behavior. d) spontaneous recovery in the experiments of Pavlov on conditioning saliva of dogs, the U.S. was as follows: a) a tone. c) the presentation of food in the dog's mouth. b) salivation to the sound of a tone. d) salivation the food in your mouth.
The response of the bobo doll experiment is OBSERVATION OF LEARNING. (The boy saw an elderly person react in this way and so both did the same) U.S. (Unconditional stimulus) in Pavlov's experiment is THE PRESENTATION OF DOG FOOD IN THE MOUTH. if you have Psych: 8 th edition Modules by David Myers – look on page 312 for answer

Cambridge Institute questions about dog behavior and training?
Okay, so I talked to them at Crufts, have searched the site and just have to ask. It is a good place to start learning basic skills. It is a mixture of distance and the workshop, depending on what the module is. I know that the formation of behavior are often the skills learned through apprenticeships and training for work, but I am doing some courses on animal handling and care of at the moment and I want to do is the behavior and training, but obviously I can not do a real learning in the hands or something, while doing a course full time and part-time work in the kennel, but I can do distance learning courses as well. So I was thinking it might be a way to learn the basics and things started to get a degree as well. But I do not know much about the professional opinion of places like CIDBT, so that any UK dog trainers about what is worth doing these courses to get a good idea and start a little before actually start forming shadow?
The CIDBT is a unique course that works in the real world. Most courses are academic degrees and have no practical requirements it is a little like learning to drive a car by reading a book .. Sounds good on paper, but when you get behind the wheel, is a different story. Colin Tennant began CIDBT and all the teachers are the practice of trainers and behaviorists, unlike most college courses. I am not a member, but I do know Colin and CIDBT the well, as I am president of PAACT The Professional Association of Applied Canine Trainers and recently participated in discussions with CAWC Animal Welfare Company Council on the future of dog training and behavior. CIDBT I think is probably the most realistic course of study to go with you if you want to move behavior and training. Best of luck
