How / what to train your dog?

I remember years ago when good behavior was rewarded and bad behavior was punished, and wherever I look in the formation of the books of internet people who all say just ignore the bad and reward the good. I personally do not agree with this, because when people ask me why I say this say punish the dog will only make him / her angry with you and will not understand what is happening. But I do not see how a dog can understand that this is good behavior, this is what they want without being able to see otherwise. Can someone explain to me why, because I have to be missing something?

The theory is that ignoring the bad and reward the good and ultimately "kindly" show the dog that good things are the best option as an answer – and a positive, indeed. It's a long way, more wind, but a warm and fuzzy, however. Dogs do not "get mad with you "or hold grudges. If you catch them in the act of misconduct and correct then I understand that the behavior is not acceptable. However, if you have to find to correct something, it's too late.

My roommate adopted a mixture of 5-year-old boxer a couple of days very well with Charlie my shepherd mix. Today we decided to take the lake where he could run. The problem is that every time Charlie wanted to run around Rocky (newcomer) was roaring behind him and began biting the ears of Charlie while growling like crazy. I do not think he wanted to hurt Charlie (he was not concerned for it) but it seemed a bit annoyed that Rocky remained in his way when he wanted to run. My roommate thought it was funny. I guess what I wanted know is whether this is something to be overcome and that is just a dog a dog or is this something that really the behavior must be corrected. If you need to correct, how you do that? If only the separate until they calm down?

They are playing, my dogs do it every time. Right, if it gets out of control.

I do not understand the behavior of my dog?

She sleeps in my room with me, but she sleeps on the floor, and she will know that I watched, sometimes scary Like it is possessed or something! And I've tried everything, took her to pee often, so that's not a problem. I can not understand what you want?

It is perfectly normal for dogs to spend time watching us. They watch our body language, facial expressions, and more. Your dog is looking to know more about you because he loves you. Or, she is bored and wants something silly to do. If it really bothers you, give him something good to chew on, have another family member might give a walk or a scavenger hunt, or something. Do not do it too often or little to no longer be your dog * *.

    puppy growling when picked up?

I adopted a cavalier king charles spaniel at 8 weeks old, she is now 9 weeks. She has begun to develop an attitude. If I have to pick up her / his movement that sometimes I growl. What should I do to fix this? Sometimes it's a short grunt and others of his time a sharp grunt. Shes never tried to bite. I understand that may not make me want to look, but that's fine with me. If I have to look for some reason, I should power without worrying about their grunts at me. Ive Maltese I have a 3 year old had since he was 8 weeks old and he's trained well and never showed signs of aggression. Proper training and understanding dog behavior I am, but I am unsure how to correct this problem. If I keep doing what you do not like I could see his thoughts usually grunt to get what he wants, but on the other hand i could see his thought not bad behavior. Advice please!

This may not sound cruel, but I did with my dog ??and she is fine .. slightly bite into the ear to show dominance on tour. (We are in a training book.) If that does not work, you must say "no" quietly serious. she should get the message.

How I can correct bad behavior actually is my dog?

I would avoid the use of electric shock, but it seems that is the only answer. When you put your nose in some candy hidden, or garbage, that growl, roar and treat anyone trying to get some trash immediately. He has been bitten several times myself and others. We have tried to hide away, but he manages to find something here and there. What technique or method should I use? It is a laboratory of 8 years old, black / Border Collie mutt … We have tried to injection and it simply will growl back aggressive. Hitting is not an option, since only aggravates the situation. We do not know what else to do.

It actually has two major problems in their hands. One – Dog going into the trash. Two – dog adjustment (This is not a source of your problem, only a symptom). The first is easy to use – keep your trash away. Do not put your dog to a violation by letting things can get to everything. It's like your home childproof when you have a baby. A second requires more effort but completely necessary. What if your dog decides to take cookies from the hands of the child and the child refuses? The consequences can be devastating! It is never too late to train old dog new tricks, so I would recommend going back to basic obedience training. Enforcing NILIF (Nothing in life is free) rules at home and make the whole family involved. Furthermore, it is much harder to untrain the dog to do something bad, that teach him to do something good. First, make sure your dog is on the belt to have control over it. So always have a pocket full of tasty treats. If you see your dog go for something bad, the label belt to get his attention and lure him with treatment. Be sure to give him some kind of control at that time, so change your mind garbage for you and treatment. No, in any case, try to beat or dominate your dog when he is protective of his food. If you think this is too much for you to manage on their own seek professional help. Good luck to you and your dog.
