Why does my dog pushed his head between his legs?
I know the first thing I think is that is trying to smell me, but that's not at all. We will walk along and will walk to heel at my side and then suddenly going to push his head between his knees lol. I'm not sure what his conduct, if you just want attention / petting or fear or something else? If it helps, is a mixture of laboratory, a little over 1 year old male. What we rescue from a shelter on Saturday, but has settled perfectly. Hope someone can help with this behavior! 
Congratulations for being so kind to rescue your dog and make him feel at home so soon. If you do not walk, I'd say it was looking for a pet / pat. I think he's trying to say something, but I do not know what could be – walk thirsty enough, the noise bothered me. Only encouraged when it does. He will learn to trust you completely and know he is fine if you relaxed. "It's a boy right, let's go" in a cheerful voice.
