How can modify the behavior of a dog-HIGH STRUNG?
Pitbull dog is a Labrador mix was found in an animal shelter in New York. Try to make sure they get enough exercise and are fed properly at regular intervals. It is a sweet animal, but more nervous than it seems appropriate to our treatment him. It's a dog inside, which is neutered.
I'm thinking you have to get out more and socialize. In general, dogs are very hyper – excited and just need more attention.

Has anyone used Zylkene Dog Behavior Problems?
We have a 15 month old German shepherd that is a terrible fear of people. In We are currently taking him to a behaviorist. The behaviorist recommends a new herbal medicine for stress dog named Zylkene. I was wondering if anyone had used on their pets and if so what has been found to be the results? Thanks.
well imo .. no .. at 15 months, I would say the fear of new images and sounds is normal in dogs (if not used to people-has never been around them before) and once you start the drugs, even grasses to control or manipulate emotions, it is then difficult for the dog to regulate itself so you have to move forward on the path of drugs … fear must be ignored and the exposure is the best cure

Fixing dogs actually have more behavior problems? ?
A friend of mine sent me this link: http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/24597888/ StoryContinued # After reading through it I decided to google the part that talked about the study at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine it was shown that spaying and neutering was associated with worse behavior, such as aggression and noise phobias. I found this link:% http://www.cdoca.org/health% 20articles/Early 20SN% 20and% 20Behavior.pdf Is it true? No fixed animals really bad behavior?
Male dogs that are neutered are less aggressive by lack of male hormones has the edge, but in female dogs is quite the contrary, the lack of female hormones may make them more aggressive if they were aggressive from the start. But how can one really knows for sure because I have met many very aggressive women who show dogs are titled and kill their daughters who are also sterile and tasteless kill their mothers. As for the problems of noise phobia, they have only approved two of the issues and thunder was castrated at 7 years old little after its issue and the other was castrated at 3 years of age long after the problem began and noise phobia. Both are doing well, because neither my other dogs or I was upset by the storm. I've had both castrated and non castrated animals show dogs and I prefer my males neutered. In boys under 6 years old my show entitled were castrated and even at that age limit was removed, they were more relaxed and calmer. By the way, dog bite statistics shwo most Dog bites are not castrated males, about 75-80% so what does that tell you about the assault on barrows of the UN?

Any hints on how to keep a Dalmatian jumping on you, dig in the yard, or chewing up the bedding?
Samantha is 16 months. of age. She is a beautiful and good dog, but passes through the conduct attacks mentioned above. She loved her pillow tempurpedic (sp?) For a few weeks and suddenly shattered ….. She is alive, well fed, and left. welcomed any suggestions. I also visited many websites and see some answers …. personal experience Dalmatian owners are welcome! Thanks in advance!
Dalamtions are very nervous and need tons of stuff to keep your dog seems busy.It is boring. A walk is not sufficient for its energy away. You may have to be running with the dog. They were bred to run in the car with the horses. So these dogs are very high engery. You should enter some classes and work with the dog. She needs to be kept busy. Perhaps as a Buster Cube for when you're gone. You full of goodies that the dog turns to leave it. The job hopping with her behavior. Jumping is not acceptable and need to let you know. If she jumps firmly correct her and let her know that we will not tolerate. I never used the correction to be consistent with it and keep it going. Dals is common jump and difficult to break. Most I have worked with are not only getting enough exercise and are bored. I recommend that you run with your dog. LOTS of running. If you do not run you know someone who makes them want to have a partner? Maybe even teach you how to take the tape. Many people use this as an outlet for their dogs. Good luck, and just trying that dogs are intelligent, but very active and challanging.

Is my dog showing dominant or submissive behavior when I lick your face? … Or is it just salt!?
… And any other piece of exposed skin for that matter! I think I've heard conflicting answers. Thanks in advance for your informed responses.
Actually, it could be one or two. Especially when it is a submissive behavior and an honest enjoyment of salt on the skin (especially when he licks his body instead of the face). Some females lick dominant (the groom), but their herd mates is often more submissive than a characteristic of a wolf, domestic dog. It does sometimes happen but it is a show of submission. Your dog more likely to acknowledge that affectionately as the dominant and get a quick salt treatment, at the same time. Oh yeah …. skip to lick your face is not always behave dominant is not a rule. Many submissive dogs jump to greet their owners and vomiting is a mom / dog (puppy), a behavior that stops as soon as the puppy is able to sustain itself and / or walk to the power supply itself unless there is a shortage of food and the puppy (puppies) are not actually allowed "Jump" to get food, usually they were handcuffed. The wolves are like dogs – but not dogs.

dog behavior?
I know the dog's behavior is not generally what the problems and how to avoid them. can anyone tell me?!
Dog body language would imply. A dog to another dog or human being, all the body language. It has been said that dogs learn to bark and adapted some of their body language, and were domesticated in an attempt to communicate with us. It must succeed because people have learned to read their needs and desires. Dogs greet each other nose to the genitals. Absolutely gross in our minds, but the dogs learn a lot from each other in this way. It would be like you and me talking about us themselves so that we can learn from each other. When my husband and I took our dog for a walk, we say that reading your p-mail, as we read our e-mail. The dogs smell the scent marks from another dog, which contains pharamones, also to learn about the other dog. A dog that stays too long to sniff the other is being rude. It would be like I continue to babble on when you want / need to leave. You can always tell who the alpha dog in a group. Others were about head high and tail up. However, its position be relaxed, not rigid and threatening, unless you are being aggressive. A submissive dog will not lead to the tail and head held high, but should not shrink if you have confidence. Fur, use the sense that the dog is vicious. More recently, those who study dog ??behavior have found that hair on end simply means that the dog is very excited and very alert about something. Could still be the aggression if the tail is held rigid, so could still needs to be careful write more, but first I hope this is what you're asking? http://spazrats.tripod.com spazrats Dog Obedience Instructor with 30 years experience

How I can stop my beagle aggressive behavior?
My beagle is three years and has developed an aggressive behavior with other dogs. He will bark and growl and lunge. He has never broken in or tried to bite, but it's hard to go out with him. My beagle is not fixed, but we're looking at him. Meanwhile, what should I do about this problem?
Does this only happens when on a leash? I have no easy answer for you, but we had a similar problem with our dog (beagle mix). When we walk, he was thrilled to see another dog and is sooooo over-excited by the time we we humans do not like! Our dog is well when off leash at the dog park. Have you ever taken your dog to a leash? This would help to determine if he is always aggressive or just getting overexcited (make sure you can act quickly, however, if he is really aggressive). We use a collar spikes, which seems to say, but in reality it is (I've tried it on my arm). When we walk and see another dog approaches, I make to sit or lay on the grass of trees. Often we have to correct it by pulling the belt to focus their attention on us. He is not 100% perfect, but much better than it used to be (as when had to be outside of our class Petsmart because he would not stop barking at other dogs). Good luck! And give a massage on your belly beagle me!

My dog has dominance or aggression problems?
I have a 14 month old neutered male English Bulldog / Boxer. He loves other dogs and took him to the dog park often. He is going to "ride" to other dogs at times, but never aggressive. We brought home 6 months old English Bulldog / Boxer the other day. Another child, not yet neutered. They play well together, but it gets a little more and I do not know if they are playing or fighting. They are naturally very vocal, so the game is very loud, growling / barking. To cut each others legs, neck, chin, and try to mount and fuck them. I think they are trying to establish who the boss is out of the two. Should I let this continue, or stop it and makes it sound like normal behavior? If you knows no race, you might think they were trying to kill each other …
By God, you should see our two standard poodles and play Briard. One would think we would have a big dog fight and they all are having a great ole. Now if someone gets too rough or start a teaming me step in. Let them be children, you know if it gets out of hand.

Can you help me with problems of dog. I adopted a dog from a foster mother and he was the victim of abuse or negligence
. He is afraid of practically everything. She loves to be loved and give lots of it, ruining it, I'm sure. But when I put the food, it takes forever to get to the food because steps forward and back a few feet away. Then you'll eat a bite and run, then come back for another bite, etc. If I bring food to him in my room, you'll eat greedily. Although it was a dog outside when I have, I have to get a belt and almost drags him out. I think it is intimidated by my big backyard, as he had been living in a pen 10 'in the women's shelter. The vet seemed to think that the reason for the weirdness of eating was the best he had problems with a larger dog, or alpha dog at lunchtime and had to wait for their food. I know he was in the cage with a dog of their size. The gelding, it sterilized. If anyone knows why this strange behavior would appreciate your comments and tips. .
Feed him for a while in place that will be more comfortable for him … your room. Then go to another quiet, pleasant place in the house to feed him ….. the kitchen? Them to the porch. Steps Baby ….. take time. About going out …… go and stay with him long enough for him to do his "thing" at first ……. then a little more …. and so on. Play around with it in the yard …. sit on the floor with him …. build your confidence slowly.
