How to train dog to use dog house when raining?

My dog is an outside dog and it rains during the winter months. Every time I come home he’s sitting next to his doghouse wet. I don’t know how to train him to use the dog house. Plz don’t give answers about keeping him inside.
Just to clear the air we keep him inside when we’re home, we leave him outside when we’re not home which is about 8 hours.

I recently adopted a 3 mo old jack russell mix. she seems very bright and has mastered a few "tricks" but insists on doing her business indoors. I take her out about once an hour and always when I catch her attempting to go inside. I use petting and treats as rewards, but still no progress.

My Golden nearly chokes himself when walking with a regular collar on. He has been to obedience class, but just has failed miserably at walking by my side! So, I’ve tried a slip collar, but I just didn’t like it and it didn’t do much good anyway. So, now he wears a gentle leader, which works ok, but he still pulls a bit and I’m sure it’s not good on his neck when he gets excited and jumps around when we see other dogs. Plus, it’s leaving a permanent mark across his nose. So….what is the most effective way to train him to walk nicely using a regular collar? I don’t necessarily care if he "heels’ or walks by my side at all times. I just want to make him stop pulling. How did you get your dog to accomplish this??

Can you train your dog to pick up his own poop?

I’m sick of doing it and sick of smelling it. I googled "how to train dog to pick up own poop" and it showed me a bunch of links to get the dog to stop eating it. That is not the problem I’m having though. He doesn’t want to eat poop because he gets fed well- Cheerios, occasional hot dog piece, yesterday my kid gave him a whole banana and last night my son shared his broccoli.

Anyway, how can I get him to pick up his own poop (without eating it, of course?)

Dealing with Puppy house-training accidents?

10 week old puppy, crate training. A few times she has peed on the floor immediately after coming back inside the house. Should you take her back out to her elimination spot at that point even though you know she will not go again that time? we do clean the floor spot to eliminate the residual odor.
