Sounds like my mom's dog could die?
The dog is a shitzu, he is 10 or 11 years old and is neutered. Has recently been acting kind of, he usually in the morning just at the foot of my mother asking to go outside, but in recent days has been hiding under a bed in a room that never enters. The other day when my dad was out bringing in furniture and usually only stays close the house, but found it an hour later, asking the district in the center of the street and when my brother was calling was curled in a ball like he did not know who he was. All I can think is beyond what she has said is that when you go to pee it just goes nowhere and is making frequent trips outside to do so. Could just be a bladder infection? He goes to the vet after 5 when I get home, I have curious if anyone has any experience with this behavior.
Sounds a little scary, maybe you just should go ahead and get a new dog?

My dog is in heat sterilized?
He was only 6 months old when he set last month, is now 7 months. Why is heat? She was not like before surgery, so it's not as if he knew the previous behavior. She is not bleeding, but has a certain stuffed animal likes to attack and jump on a certain way and you can tell your breathless and reaction … Well, that really seems to be in heat! Not every day, but a couple of times a week or less.
Please provide details of why you think is in heat? When shelters get dogs spayed and the vet removed Overie entire uterus and both, making it impossible for her to warm up after surgery. Please your dog to the vet immediately!

What should I do for my dog?
I have a very large chocolate lab, which is about ten years. He has a lot of problems, including health arthritis, cataracts, and allergies. Over the past two weeks or so your stomach has been getting very swollen. At first I did not realize, because has always been quite large (more than the size of a Mastiff Newfie or a laboratory), but it's been a while and your stomach is still big, and I am very worried. Your eating habits have not changed, except that he has a habit of eating toilet paper if someone leaves the bathroom door open. His behavior has not changed, either, but I'm worried about what it might mean swollen belly. I go to the vet, but I really can not afford that at all times. What should I do?
If a dog's stomach becomes enlarged and swollen, the first thing that comes to mind is that not getting enough fluids out of your system, which means excess water and fluids remain in the stomach. One of the main reasons for this are the problems of the liver. Considering its age and if your excess weight ( Sorry if it is not fat but just big) could be. Most liver problems can be treated if seen in time, so he should have examined by a veterinarian. The good news is that the liver can regenerate itself and work very well after treatment. It may also be that the kidneys as well. It might even be a large tumor somewhere inside your belly … But the safest bet is to take it to a vet and they will find what is happening. I do not think to be due to eating toilet paper, as some people say. He should be able to digest and poop the role very well. And even if the paper is stuck in your stomach intestines ot the dog vomiting or having difficulty to defecate out and be constipated. Ok, I just saw that you can not afford a vet: (Ah, it is difficult to diagnose anything for sure without a vet. I'm just giving my opinion. But the truth is that older dogs need regular veterinary care. You can go to the vet ASPCA? It may not be charged … At least call the vet, explain your situation, says he can not afford expensive treatments, explain the problem and ask the dog advice. Maybe you check out free of charge and at least tell you what is happening. Give it a shot, at least, the call does not cost much and the vet's advice on the phone is free. If your dog has to be treated for something that will have to decide what you will do. Health problems in older dogs do not just disappear and often severe. So at least call a vet and ask a favor. Maybe a little lucky and find a sympathy that is willing to help. Because I do not think there is much you can do to make your dog best. If the dog needs treatment start calling old favors and borrow money from friends and family. Good luck!

Why does my dog is barking at people who do not know?
My lab / retriver keeps barking at strangers who come to it though not what everyone makes. Ladra as if going to attack. When this happens, I would say to stop and him, but only for a second. Then keeps barking until the stranger out of sight. Others may only close and Pat and he just licks and tail wagging. I do not understand. I do not want to get a shock collar, because that would build pressure and character may attack someone. What I can do to stop this behavior?
He is protecting you (in your mind of all modes)

Is it normal that my dog likes to sunbathe in the summer?
My black labrador dog likes to go out and standing in the way of concrete during the summer. Do most of dogs to do that and I'm anxious to see if his behavior normal? I really like it usually bark a couple of times and he just wants out exposed to sunlight. I wonder if I should worry about it overheating because of its black coat asborb all that heat. never showed concern only superheated Overall I think because of his black coat. Good to know, although it is normal. Just let him out for up to 5-10 minutes so it probably would not have enough time off overheating
Dogs need about 2 hours in the sun all day. It helps the vitamin D they need naturally. All 4 of mine out the street and take the sun, either on the patio or in the grass.

Long plane trip with my dog?
I'm on a long flight next week across the country and I am taking my dog with me. It is 2 1 / 2 and weighs 12 pounds. It has really bad anxiety problems and I am worried about his behavior on the plane and he has a panic attack, what type of drugs could give to help relieve your stress? Anything over the counter? Or I have to talk to my vet about medications?
I just fly via United Airlines with my mixture of 3 years, 9-pound Pomeranian Chihuahua. I bought a half case of the Sherpa brand, and it fits perfectly under the seat of each plane. (3 total puddle-jumper, medium and large size.) Try to see if your little guy fits in that country. Some airlines do not allow dogs on drugs at. This bag was great as during the flight that was able to reach into the bag and pet my dog ??so he relaxed. The FA is even brought their own lenses ice water to keep you happy! Bring sample bags of dog food, treats, toys, and all that. It is much better than the load. It would not hurt to take him a pet store and try several airline flights out. Loading too many bad events happen not to yield to board a try. Good luck!

I have a dog senior CDS, and is showing some OCD behaviors and anxiety attacks …?
It is under the care of a holistic veterinarian and traditional, but the anxiety attacks occur at night and need a way to help calm down at night, so we can get some sleep! He is being treated cholodin Anipryl and supplements with, …. that is burning too many calories with anxiety attacks. Does anyone have any advice on what else to try. He is still happy and committed 80 percent of the time. Nocturnal behavior is the need to face, walking in circles until it falls close to the position sitting, and we are struggling to calm him. Please only serious answers …. I do not need any sarcasm. It is a rescue dog we have loved for 4 years and want to ensure we are doing the best for him.
Well with traditional medicine can ask your vet for a sedative to give your dog at night. It would be like a sleeping pill to relax. This is really great for the dog's body and probably would not help him last longer depending what their status is now, but help you sleep and to sleep for some time to come. One of the possible side effects of Anipryl is the concern / anxiety. Since you said holisitic see a vet, if its integral practices veterinary homeopathy, I would start to consider more seriously. You would have to take your dog out of Anipryl for the veterinarian can see the actual symptoms that your dog has no side effects of drugs that the dog is. Then with these symptoms of a particular remedy chosen. Sometimes it takes some trial and error to find the right remedy, but if the correct remedy is what can really help a dog. Cholodin is a supplement to help with joint problems and arthritis, so I'd like to leave your dog in that and other natural supplements that have your dog to help you feel more comfortable. Good luck!
